Non-Typical Taxidermy is owned and operated by John Jones. John is a full-time taxidermist with more than 30 years of experience with trophies from all over the world. Specializing in full-body mounts with true-life habitat bases, each piece from Non-Typical Taxidermy is a work of art.
John is a lifelong outdoorsman with extensive experience hunting, trapping, guiding, managing habitat, and enjoying nature ("enjoying the show"). His observation of wildlife and the places they live make his work both creative and realistic.
For John, taxidermy is an artistic expression of the wonders of our natural world.
With a client base that extends across the U.S., John guarantees high quality, unique and custom results. His artwork can be found in lodges, camps, homes, nature centers, and even movie sets across the country.
